The enforcement practice at the Firm conducted over five hundredcriminal and civil actions for clients spanning diverse industries & sectors over the last 3 years. The team at the Firm encompasses wide-ranging experience in Intellectual Property enforcement and anti-counterfeiting across a broad spectrum of products and services including apparel/garments, luxury goods, pharmaceuticals, consumer durables, books, films, music with members of the enforcement team has a thorough understanding of dealing with counterfeiting in a number of diverse industries.

An efficient, robust and ethical investigation team also supplements the enforcement team allows the Firm to provide its clients with a ‘one-window’ solution to their piracy/counterfeiting challenges. This is done by way of using the in-house investigation teams or entering into liaisons with leading private investigation houses and by having the enforcement team co-ordinate and monitor investigations which apart from greatly enhancing the quality of investigations and preserving confidentiality, allows the Firm to provide cost-efficient enforcement campaign proposals to clients.

Over the years, members of the enforcement team have built up credibility withnot only pan-Indian enforcement agencies as also with the police forces of several states within India. The Firm’s geographical reach across India and its ability to conduct simultaneous multiple actions across multiple regions of the country provides clients with a unique advantage while addressing enforcement challenges.

The Firm currently handles the countrywide joint Civil and Criminal enforcement campaigns on behalf of leading brands in sectors relating to apparels, consumer durables, print publishing, film, television (signal piracy and online piracy), software, etc.

Apart from running online enforcement tracking and takedown campaigns, the Firm reach is not limited to India alone as it’s team oversees enforcement campaigns in SAARC countries such as Sri-Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, etc., ensuring quality, uniformity in campaign postures & quick turnaround times.
