She is experienced in dealing with the Intellectual Property issues at diverse fora in the digital economy, including copyright and trademark questions raised by online intermediary services. Her litigation experience covers trademark infringement and passing off, copyright infringement and designs. Her practice also covers transactional IP work such as licensing agreements and advice on the Intellectual Property aspects of corporate restructures and reorganizations. Abhiti holds an LL.M. in IP Laws from University College of London.
Anu works with the Litigation team. Before joining the firm in 2017, she worked in an independent chamber, where she worked on India’s first litigation on copyright infringement of educational material. Anu's experience includes litigation matters related to trademark, design and copyright infringement, non-IP related civil litigation matters, service matters, trademark prosecution, and advisory matters. She is a member of the team working on the first litigation in India on Standard Essential Patents in the telecom industry.
Arjun works with the Litigation team. He spent his early days in the profession working in the Chambers of an Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India, where he handled general civil and criminal litigation & alternative dispute resolution. Arjun is an important member of the team working on the first litigation in India on Standard Essential Patents in the telecom industry.
Deepshikha is a part of the Telecom, Media and Technology law team in the firm. Deepshikha is a litigator handling litigation spanning IP and non-IP claims. Deepshikha is also a key contact for the team handling the firm’s copyright society client litigation cases across India.
Devvrat works with the Litigation team. His practice focuses on intellectual property rights, intermediary liability, data privacy, and entertainment and media law. He is also part of the core Litigation team dealing with cases on patent infringement. In addition to handling court cases, he regularly advises clients on various technology law issues such as intermediary liability, and on media law issues such as online/new media piracy and content clearance. Devvrat is the founding Managing Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Studies.
Gitanjali works with the Litigation team. She graduated with a B.A.LLB (Hons) degree from the School of Law, Christ University in 2016. She has a keen interest in the overlap of technology and intellectual property. She has worked on landmark cases in trademark, intermediary liability and broadcasting laws. Gitanjali is also part of the core Litigation team dealing with cases on patent infringement.
Nikita works with the Litigation team. She has experience in handling matters related to civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution across various sectors such as Consumer rights, and Intellectual Property. She regularly advises buyers of various projects on protection of their rights against builders. Nikita has also experience of bringing class-action suits against various builders across the country, before the National Consumer Commission. She regularly represents clients in arrays of matters before all levels of courts.
Prachi is a lawyer, an engineer, and a registered patent agent. She completed her LL.B. from IIT, Kharagpur in 2017, and obtained her B.Tech in ECE in 2014. She started her career as a patent specialist with an in-house and subsequently joined the firm in 2019. She has over 5 years of experience in patent searching, representing clients in SEP matters, prosecuting and drafting patent applications in the fields of telecom, electrical, electronics, and software engineering.
Ranjeet works with the Litigation team who regularly advises clients on contentious and non-contentious matters including those related to broadcasting (regulatory and litigation), trademarks, copyright, and designs. Ranjeet also handles IP-related criminal matters. He regularly appears and argues cases before the Delhi High Court, Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) and the various District Courts in Delhi.
Sandeep has over nine years of legal experience with particular focus on healthcare and medical malpractice law, intellectual property, including geographical indications, arbitration, consumer disputes as well as knowledge in equity and private investments, banking and commercial transactions. Sandeep has several years of experience in an advisory capacity to premier hospitals and healthcare conglomerates as well as lecturing and teaching medical jurisprudence and healthcare law.
Santosh graduated from Faculty of Law, Campus Law Center, University of Delhi and has a total experience of around twenty three years in various Courts of Delhi. He is currently handling Copyright enforcement matters for media and broadcasting companies and leading apparel brands.
Snehima works with the Litigation team. Apart from her degree in law, she also holds a diploma in Intellectual Property: Law and Management from the Gujarat National Law University. As part of the Litigation team, Snehima has worked extensively in the area of trademark, copyright and patent law, with special focus on intermediary liability under the IT Act, 2000. She has further assisted in matters pertaining to criminal law and has also worked on arbitrations handled by the firm.
Sohrab works with the Litigation team. He works on a broad range of issues including those relating to contractual advisory, trademarks, intermediaries and other disputes in the field of intellectual property law. He also has experience in matters relating to general civil litigation, real estate disputes, white-collar crimes, etc. He regularly represents clients in an array of matters before various Courts and Tribunals. He also regularly represents clients in arbitrations.
Yatinder works with the Litigation team, and extensively handles matters related to general civil litigation, corporate commercial litigation and alternate dispute resolutions across various fields such as Broadcasting, Entertainment, Sports Broadcasting, online piracy, Contracts, matters relating to infringement of Trademarks, Copyright, and Patents, Consumers disputes, Website Blocking, Film Certification, Banking, Defamation etc. He regularly represents foreign and Indian Clients in an array of matters before all levels of Courts, Tribunals and other quasi-judicial bodies.
