The Firm regularly advises its clients on a variety of issues relating to sports law. The Firm was instrumental in devising the strategy to establish the tort of commercial misappropriation of “hot news” in the context of sports in India. The Firm also successfully represented interests of private sports broadcasters in a multi-level litigation involving the balancing the public’s right to access sporting events of national importance viz a viz the rights of private broadcasters.
